We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Admissions Manager to lead a centralised admissions team for a highly regarded aged care provider. Based in Melbourne, this role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for families navigating the aged care journey. You'll lead a dedicated team that manages enquiries, coordinates with internal stakeholders, and oversees the entire admissions process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a centralised admissions team across multiple homes
- Manage end-to-end resident admissions from initial enquiry to placement
- Build strong relationships with Facility Managers and clinical teams
- Ensure high-quality customer service and timely communication with families
- Track and report on occupancy rates, trends, and team performance
- Maintain compliance with aged care regulations and internal standards
- Proven leadership experience in admissions within Aged Care
- Deep understanding of the aged care sector and systems including My Aged Care and ACAT
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with CRM systems and reporting tools
- Empathetic, customer-focused mindset with the ability to lead by example
