Clinical Manager

  • Oversee the clinical operations of a medium aged care home in Albury/Wodonga with a respected provider committed to flexibility and work–life balance.
  • Enjoy a strong support network including the Facility Manager, fellow Clinical staff, and dedicated Nursing and Care staff.

Summary:
Lead the clinical operations of a well-established aged care home with a respected provider committed to flexibility, work–life balance, and quality care. You’ll guide a dedicated clinical and care team, ensure compliance, and foster a supportive, person-centred environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop nursing and care staff to maintain a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Oversee day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Collaborate with residents, families, and health professionals to create and implement individualised care plans.
  • Manage resources, staffing, and budgets effectively to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits to maintain exceptional care standards.
  • Address concerns from residents, families, or staff with empathy and professionalism.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration.
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Care Manager, Clinical Coordinator, or similar senior clinical role within aged care.
  • Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC funding model, and compliance frameworks
  • Proven ability to lead, support, and mentor clinical teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
  • Excellent clinical assessment, care planning, and documentation skills
  • Sound knowledge of risk management, incident reporting, and infection prevention and control practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Exceptional time management and organisational abilities, with a proactive approach to solving problems and driving improvements
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
  • Relevant post-graduate qualifications in aged care, health management, or clinical leadership (desirable but not essential)
