Compliance & Education Manager

About the Role
As Compliance & Education Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping the clinical and educational standards of the home. You’ll drive quality improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, and provide leadership and guidance to clinical and care staff. Your focus will be on creating a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and excellence in resident care.
You’ll collaborate closely with staff, residents, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring everyone feels supported, informed, and empowered. This is a role where your expertise will be valued and your leadership will have a tangible impact on resident outcomes and staff engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee quality, education, and clinical programs across the home, ensuring high standards of care.
  • Develop, implement, and review education and training programs for nursing and care staff.
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor clinical performance, conduct audits, and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support staff professional development through mentoring, coaching, and tailored training.
  • Liaise with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to maintain open communication and address concerns.
  • Oversee incident management, risk assessments, and infection prevention practices.
  • Prepare and submit reports for executive management, accreditation processes, and regulatory bodies.
  • Contribute to recruitment, induction, and ongoing training of clinical and care staff.
What You’ll Bring
  • Reigstered Nurse with AHPRA Registration (Essential). 
  • Proven experience in a senior clinical, quality, or education role within aged care.
  • Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in staff education, mentoring, and professional development initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, quality care, and staff development.
  • Relevant post-graduate qualifications in aged care, health management, or clinical leadership (desirable).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical practice at all times.
