As a Nurse Unit Manager, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the care and culture of our aged care home. You’ll lead a dedicated team, ensuring residents receive high-quality, compassionate care while maintaining compliance and fostering a positive, supportive environment for both residents and staff. This is an opportunity to mentor, inspire, and drive continuous improvement, making a meaningful difference every day.
Key Information:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care.
- Manage budgets and financial performance, optimising resources effectively.
- Foster a positive, resident-focused culture, ensuring high levels of staff engagement.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to address feedback and improvement initiatives.
- Implement quality care systems and continuous improvement strategies.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role within aged care.
- Strong knowledge of aged care standards, AN-ACC funding, and accreditation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, staffing, and operational performance.
