Summary
This Melbourne-based aged care provider, operating several residential homes, is dedicated to delivering exceptional and personalised care through strong relationships with residents, families, and staff. They are now seeking a Nursing Educator to design, implement, and lead the organisation’s clinical education program - a pivotal role with the opportunity to shape how learning and development is delivered across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver clinical education programs to nursing and care teams.
  • Provide mentorship and hands-on training to support staff development.
  • Oversee new staff orientation and induction programs, ensuring clinical competency.
  • Assist with managing the Online Learning Platform, including content review and administration.
  • Ensure care delivery aligns with Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and monitor clinical performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with Home Managers, Clinical Coordinators, and the Leadership Team to enhance education strategies.
  • Participate in sub-committees, including the Clinical Governance Committee.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current AHPRA registration.
  • CERT IV in Training & Assessment (desirable).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in aged care or healthcare.
  • Experience in delivering clinical education, training, or mentoring.
  • Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to design, implement, and assess training programs.
  • A passion for aged care and continuous improvement.
  • Current National Police Certificate and Driver’s Licence (travel between homes required).
