Area Manager – Aged Care

We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Area Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of three residential aged care facilities across Western Queensland and Northern New South Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a leadership role, enjoys variety, and is passionate about delivering quality care in regional communities.

About the Role
In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll support and guide Facility Managers, ensuring each site meets high standards of care, compliance, and performance. You’ll play a key role in shaping the culture of each home, supporting staff development, and driving continuous improvement across all services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Facility Managers and their teams
• Oversee operational, financial, and care outcomes for each facility
• Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements
• Support accreditation and quality improvement processes
• Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and resident-centered care

• Bachelor of Nursing & Current AHPRA Registration
• Previous experience in a senior aged care leadership role (multi-site preferred) - 3 years minimum
• Strong understanding of clinical governance, compliance, and quality standards
• Confident leadership, people management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with teams, residents, and stakeholders
• Flexibility to travel across regional locations on a regular basis and hold a current driver's license
