Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate, person-centred nursing care aligned with care plans and clinical standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care while monitoring changes in health and wellbeing
- Safely administer medications and maintain accurate documentation
- Support and guide care staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with aged care quality standards and infection control practices
- Contribute to continuous improvement, safety, and quality assurance initiatives
- Provide dignified, empathetic end-of-life care
Key Requirements / Skills:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (required)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an RN in aged care (required)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Sound understanding of aged care standards, medication management, and infection control
- Compassionate, professional, and dedicated to quality resident care
