Residential Aged Care Manager
- This is a great opportunity for someone to oversee a small nursing home in Melbourne’s southeastern suburbs within a supportive and established provider.

- Support executive management by acting in their role during periods of leave, gaining firsthand leadership experience.
- Lead a small, independent facility and benefit from an exceptional salary package of $135,000 - $150,000 + Superannuation & Salary Packaging.
Take on a senior leadership position as Residential Aged Care Manager with a respected aged care organisation, overseeing the daily operations of a residential facility in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. In this role, you will drive a culture of high-quality, resident-focused care, ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, support and develop your team, and enhance the wellbeing of every resident.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain adherence to all legislative and regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous quality assurance.
- Oversee day-to-day management, strategic planning, and financial oversight to ensure effective, sustainable, and high-quality service delivery.
- Mentor and guide a multidisciplinary team, encouraging professional development, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence in care.
- Develop strong connections with residents, families, and the broader community, encouraging open communication and a supportive, inclusive environment.
- Spearhead the delivery of high standards of resident-focused care, ensuring dignity, compassion, and personalised support are at the centre of all services.
- Implement initiatives that strengthen service quality and best practice, ensuring ongoing progress and positive outcomes for residents.
- Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- At least three years of operational leadership experience in residential aged care.
- Additional tertiary qualifications in management or a related field are highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and support a team, with a focus on service quality, compliance, and resident wellbeing.
- Strong understanding of aged care legislation, accreditation standards, and funding frameworks such as AN-ACC.
- Experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and financial oversight to ensure sustainable operations.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Strong cultural awareness and ability to work with different cultures.
- Full Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid visa).
