Step into a senior leadership role as Residential Aged Care Manager with a respected aged care organisation, managing the day-to-day operations of a residential facility in the Bendigo, the Goldfields, and the Macedon Ranges region. In this role, you will help cultivate a culture of warm, resident-focused care, ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, support and develop your team, and enhance the wellbeing of every resident. Key Responsibilities
- Uphold all legislative and regulatory requirements, fostering a safe, accountable, and quality-driven environment.
- Manage day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and resources to ensure smooth and sustainable service delivery.
- Mentor and support a multidisciplinary team, encouraging collaboration, professional growth, and excellence in care.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the wider community, promoting open communication and a welcoming environment.
- Lead the delivery of compassionate, resident-focused care, ensuring dignity and personalised support are at the heart of everything.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and best practice standards.
- Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration (Essential).
- Prior experience in Aged Care or Health Services management.
- Additional tertiary qualifications in management or a related field are highly regarded.
- Proven ability to lead and support a team, with a focus on quality care and resident wellbeing.
- Solid understanding of aged care legislation, accreditation standards, and funding frameworks such as AN-ACC.
- Experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and financial oversight.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Full Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid visa).
